Zuellig Pharma has achieved its fourth consecutive Platinum medal from EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, with a 2024 score of 90 out of 100. This achievement places Zuellig Pharma among the top 60 companies worldwide, out of 130,000 respondents, and the first organisation in Asia Pacific to reach this level.
Over the past four years, the company has ranked within the top 1% of organisations worldwide, recognised for its performance in environmental efforts, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Key initiatives, such as the "Worker Voice" social audit programme, supplier engagement efforts, and HSSE-related certifications, have been instrumental in achieving an 8-point improvement from last year’s EcoVadis score.
This achievement signifies progress as Zuellig Pharma advances its sustainability agenda across Asia, in addition to other noteworthy results and accolades:
- Ranking among the top transport services organisations worldwide according to scores by CDP, the operator of the largest independent global environmental disclosure system.
- First and only transport services organisation in Asia Pacific, and one of only two companies worldwide, to be included in the prestigious A- list for Climate Change
- First and only transport services organisation worldwide to receive an A score on Supplier Engagement
- Reducing carbon emissions by 38%, equivalent to 178,000 tonnes of carbon or 10.7 million tree seedlings planted and grown for 10 years, putting the company four years ahead of stringent Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) greenhouse gases reduction targets.
- Tracking $19 million worth of suspected counterfeits and diversions through over 200,000 scans, with pioneering eZTracker track-and-trace solution.
- Working with governments to serve over 100 million patients across Asia through vaccination distribution and disease awareness initiatives.
